Tinting your car has the primary benefit of blocking excess light and heat from the sun. UV Radiation from the sun causes your interior to degrade over time. Tinting your windows with premium Ceramic Tint can block most of the UV radiation without sacrificing additional visibility. Tint also makes the inside of your car less visible from the outside which is great for personal privacy. Tinting your windows is completely reversible and does not impact performance.
The limit for window tint in Virginia is 35%. The lower the number, the lower visibility the tint gives your car. In order to pass Virginia State Inspection, your tint must be 35% or higher visibility. If your car is tinted lower than 35%, you may be required to have the film removed in order for your car to pass.
